From now on, all new inserts will be made from the darker (more expensive) material. This removes the previous “tinted” or “standard” choice for around 80% of our glass rear wiper delete covers. The “Tinted” note on the packaging will also disappear with the next packaging revision.<\/p>\n
Until now, the tinted version cost more. We’ve decided to increase the price of a complete “Wiper Delete Kit” (glass cover, cleaner, adhesive, shipping) from \u20ac30 (\u20ac32.50 tinted) to \u20ac35. Internationally it costs \u20ac37.50.<\/p>\n
At this point, a first big thank you goes to Marcel K.<\/strong> who got me thinking about stickers. Until now, I always thought the whole point of removing the rear wiper was to make the rear end look tidy and CLEAN. Putting a sticker where the rear wiper used to be always seemed counterproductive to me \u2013 it highlights something that’s good precisely because it’s gone. \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n Anyway … after thinking about it, I’m going to keep a small number of handmade stickers in stock, and the idea is to tie a few incentives to them. I’ll give Marcel a few stickers and inserts for his mates\/referrals. If a referred customer installs the insert and adhesive and gives us a little exposure on Instagram, the insert and adhesive won’t cost them anything.
