Custom glass insert production in Germany

At our production facility in Germany, we can manufacture custom glass discs from 22 to 37.5 mm precisely from a single piece of glass for the hole in the rear window where the rear wiper shaft originally passed through the glass.

Precision glass discs

All rear wiper delete kits (glass insert + adhesive + cleaner) are individually matched to your vehicle and CNC-milled from float glass to an accuracy of around two tenths of a millimetre.

We do not glue thin glass discs together or make the insert from plastic, because neither solution is designed for long-term durability on your car or delivers the best clean result.

• Plastic rear wiper delete covers scratch easily when the rear window is cleaned and do not reflect light like glass; their depth and appearance are different.
• Solutions made from separate glass discs of different diameters glued together often develop condensation between the layers over time, causing a milky white appearance or other unusual colour changes. The individual discs also react differently to temperature changes, and more adhesive is needed during installation.

Our protected manufacturing method (utility model protection) made from a single piece of glass is far superior to both of these rear-wiper-delete solutions, although it also costs a little more.

In our workshop, the glass rear wiper delete inserts are polished by hand after CNC milling, inspected for quality and checked for dimensional accuracy to match the wiper hole. Our products are designed for long-term durability on the vehicle. All materials used are of the highest quality:

• the black coating is applied using a durable, sophisticated paint process specifically optimised for automotive use and the associated temperature ranges.
• In addition, the black adhesive we supply is colour-matched to the black border of the rear window around the wiper hole.
