Hi! As announced in the last post, we’re changing our product range.
From now on, all new inserts will be made from the darker (more expensive) material. This removes the previous “tinted” or “standard” choice for around 80% of our glass rear wiper delete covers. The “Tinted” note on the packaging will also disappear with the next packaging revision.
Until now, the tinted version cost more. We’ve decided to increase the price of a complete “Wiper Delete Kit” (glass cover, cleaner, adhesive, shipping) from €30 (€32.50 tinted) to €35. Internationally it costs €37.50.
At this point, a first big thank you goes to Marcel K. who got me thinking about stickers. Until now, I always thought the whole point of removing the rear wiper was to make the rear end look tidy and CLEAN. Putting a sticker where the rear wiper used to be always seemed counterproductive to me – it highlights something that’s good precisely because it’s gone. 😉
Anyway … after thinking about it, I’m going to keep a small number of handmade stickers in stock, and the idea is to tie a few incentives to them. I’ll give Marcel a few stickers and inserts for his mates/referrals. If a referred customer installs the insert and adhesive and gives us a little exposure on Instagram, the insert and adhesive won’t cost them anything. We’ll see how it goes … if the feedback is good, I’ll extend the idea to other loyal customers.
